She was on the bridge when your bomb exploded. You did this to her.
Anya to Clarke and Finn about Tris [src]

Tris was a minor character in the first season. She was portrayed by Alison Thornton and debuted in The Calm.

Tris was a young Grounder Second to Anya in the process of training to become a warrior. Part of the attack force headed for the Delinquents' Camp, she was injured in the bridge explosion caused by Raven's bomb then later died after a failed medical operation due to her injuries.

Throughout the SeriesEdit

In I Am Become Death, Tris was among the Grounders that were on the bridge at the time of the explosion.

In The Calm, Clarke and Finn are kidnapped and taken to grounder territory, where Clarke is forced to heal Tris. Finn asks what is wrong with Tris and it is revealed that she was hurt by the bomb set off by the Delinquents. Tris begins to choke and gasp, forcing Clarke to slice open her side and drain the blood from Tris' lungs. Tris begins to breath better but Anya complains that Tris is hot. Clarke realizes Tris is septic and criticizes Anya for sending a child into battle. Anya states that Tris was her second and it is how they train their warriors. Clarke realizes that Tris needs clean blood and attempts to get Anya's, who recoils. Finn offers his blood, but by the time a vein is found and blood is extracted, Tris has died. Anya cuts off a braid of her hair as a memento. Later, it is stated by the Grounder Caliban that the markings on Tris' shoulder meant she had already killed five people in her life.

Physical AppearanceEdit

Tris appeared to have average size/height. She had brown wavy hair and dark brown eyes.

PersonalityEdit

Due to the fact that Tris is never conscious, it is difficult to know her personality. Tris was the youngest Grounder seen so far and was on the first line in the attack on the delinquents. Postmortem, Anya claims that Tris was very brave. It is known that Tris had gotten five kills in combat before she died.

RelationshipsEdit

Anya Edit

Tris was Anya's second. It was indicated that the two were very close, and Anya respected her. Anya cared for her so much that she threatened to kill Finn if Clarke failed to save her life.
