    • We don't really know much, but check out Sky People#Spirituality.

My guess is that the original Arkers had a variety of religions since they were a diverse group from at least 12 different countries. Over the 97 years in space, the common 'religion' become returning to Earth. Now that they have returned, their religious beliefs are a lot less clear. Although, they may still follow some traditions, e.g. the traveler's blessing.

    • I suppose over time ,one idea will tend to dominate and become a part of their culture. The travler's blessing seems to be a big part of their death ritual, it's what Kane said to his dying mother and ti's the same thing Clarke said to Lexa as she was dying.

It suggest that they believe in some kind of afterlife or maybe reincarnation .

    • There is at least a minor variety in their beliefs. Murphy and Jasper both seem to be atheists.

    • I am sure there are a lot more atheists among skaikru, it being a more advanced society. It would be interesting to know what the grounders beliefs are amongst the various clans.

    • Being that most of the people in space during the first apocalypse were most likely scientists or engineers from the United States, the majority of it's initial population were most likely athiests and a sort of spirituality over organized religion formed after a while.

    • As we saw in seson one, there are people who take care of the tree in a religious type way. it seems a lot like the people in the book "The City of Ember"  who believe the builders will come back to them. These people such as Verna seem to believe that taking care of the tree is healing
