  • May I ask where you saw him in this episode where he was uncredited? I looked at the ambassadors at Polis when the Azgeda ambassador was killed by Lexa looking for Uzac and couldn't find him. From Lexa's throne there are seven ambassadors to her right and four on the left (including the one from Azgeda). One seat on the left is empty and lead me to believe that was Uzac's seat.

  • Can you please clarify something about her? I've watched The 48 and I never saw the Major in any of the scenes. Could you please tell me where you see her so I can add that information on her page?

  • Hi Andy,

    I noticed you switching {{col}} to {{col-begin}} and I was wondering if there was a reason behind this switch? Is there something you dislike about how Template:Col functions?

    Template:Col-being/2/end are a set of older templates that Template:Col was created to replace. The newer template has several major advantages over the old templates. For editors, they no longer have to count where to split the table since the template uses inbuilt html functions to auto-split the data into multiple columns. For readers, the template has the significant advantage of multiple columns when viewing on desktop but single column when uses mobile devices. Using the old templates, mobile users get two squished columns, while the new template is mobile friendly.

    Given wikia's push to be more mobile friendly, using mobile friendly templates should be the preference. While many of our pages still use the old column templates, the goal is to eventually convert all pages to use the new column template to provide a better reader experience.

    So back to original question, is there are reason for switching to the older, mobile unfriendly templates? I don't want to reverse the switch without understanding if there is an issue with the template.

    Thanks,
    janus

    • I kinda like the older better..... It's simpler to me.

        Loading editor
    • Simpler... as in from the editor perspective?

      Code-wise, it's

      {{col}}
      * Item 1
      * Item 2
      * Item 3
      * Item 4
      * Item 5
      * Item 6
      {{col|end}}

      vs

      {{Col-begin}}
      * Item 1
      * Item 2
      * Item 3
      {{Col-2}}
      * Item 4
      * Item 5
      * Item 6
      {{Col-end}}

      As an editor you don't have to count number of items for the split when using Template:Col (which is especially useful for larger lists). Typing-wise, Template:Col is also shorter, requiring less effort to write. So I'm not quite understanding how Template:Col-being/2/end is simpler – could you explain? Also, does it justify the worse reader experience?

    • It's sometimes hard to navigate when adding cast members and such. I guess both have their issues.

  • Hi, I think I missed the Lexa reference in "Eden". Was there a drawing or did Clarke say something? Thanks, janus

  • Where did they appears? I don’t see them anywhere in bunker

    • And yet you did not give me source as to why he's credited in the opening. Mr. Washington himself said "Don't listen to those, I am still in the series."

        Loading editor
    • But the articles never say he's leaving the show ! Only that he will not be a main anymore.

      Because it's Isaiah Washington and so they can bend the rules a little for him ? Or maybe because he was in the titles until now and it would be weird to take him off as long as he's alive. Probably to avoid people who don't want to be spoiled to think like "Oh, he's not a main anymore so he's gonna die very soon" !

    • This wiki has always followed a simple rule: if a cast member is given "starring credits" (which Isaiah Washington did for s5), regardless of how many episodes they appear (or credited) in, the character is considered a major/main character for the season. This is why Callie Cartwig is listed as a main even though she appeared in a grand total of one episode. Btw, this is stated within this community's editing guides.

  • Hey Andy,

    I don't know if you saw, but I asked a question several days related to your addition on the Lexa page. When was Lexa mentioned in "Die All, Die Merrily" and "Praimfaya"? I can't find the mention of her name in transcripts of the captions for either episodes. In 410, "first commander" is said but that refers to Becca not Lexa. In 413, "commander" is said twice but neither in reference to Lexa.

    Thanks,
    janus

  • Dear Wellsworth96,

    Janus100 have just corrected the edits in the Polis page and the Second Dawn Bunker page in the population numbers.

  • Dear Wellsworth96,

    You're right about the original first answer, my bad. There were 80 spots and rooms for the essential personnel and the children. 80 essential personnel were in 100 Skaikru adults and there were 80 more Skaikru children. When the grounders were about to take away the children because there were not on the list, Marcus Kane told the grounders that the children stays in the bunker.

      • Speculating that Grounders gave Skaikru an extra 20-80 spots just to include children is silly. Grounders didn't get extra spots for their children, so why would they give more spots to Skaikru?
        • Also, 20 people included essential personnel, which included Kane, Abby, Clarke, Bellamy, Raven, & more. That means Skaikru had no more than 15 children, not 20-80.
      • As far as we know, all the 'extra' people Kane gave spots to, i.e. Nathan & the children, were either already on the list or replaced people who were on the list but died (after the list was made, before "The Chosen").
        • Btw, why are you claiming Costa is an extra & what's Kane excuse for him?

      Costa was seen in Praimfaya. I think was an essential person.

    • Since you didn't objected to the rest of my message, I'll take that as a go ahead.

      As for Costa, if he was essential, then he would certainly have been on Clarke's list and is not an extra.
