  • Just wondering if you will be on here during season 5?

    • Skyzy usually is Admin, not anymore. Look at below message from Totally Tinkerbell, it mean this user is not coming back, it already left wikia. He/she never here during season 4. This User is not going to coming back.

  • Hi Skyzy

As you probably know, Season Four has now started. I know you said before you'd be leaving the show after S3 aired, and the hiatus is now officially over. I also checked and saw that your last actual edit here was made several months ago. That leaves me to assume you've left the wikia.

In the light of this wikia's administration that does mean we can not have you as an admin anymore, and thus I will demote you to regular contributor. This way you will still be able to edit if you'd ever want to.

Even though we had our differences, you've worked hard on this wikia and that's something we will always appreciate as a community.

    Kind Regards

    - Taya

  • Hey. It seems that you were the one who made the edits to the Body Count and Ressurection pages saying that the Delinquents only killed 5 guards during the raid on Level 5. I was just wondering if you could tell me your reasons for that. Cage pretty clearly tells them over the radio that that they just killed 10 of his men. Even if his count includes the 2 guards that Bellamy shot, that would still leave 8 guards.

Or is there something that I missed?

    • IIRC, it has to do with a Cage quote in 2x15-2x16 where he says they killed 15 guards total in the two incidences (the radiation that killed Tsing and the delinquent battle in the dorms that Emerson escaped from).

  • Hey!

Do you have time to take a look at this? I will be on mobile for at least another 20 hours and by then it may have slipped my mind : http://the100.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:58175#3

  • Hi, I see you undid my edit regarding the tenses on Finn's page, which is fine I just have a small question regarding it. With many of the other pages including Lexa, Lincoln, and Maya the lead is written in the past tense so I'm a tad curious why we wouldn't do the same for Finn, since he like those character was alive but is now deceased.

    • Becca was dead before the start of the show. Charlotte and Finn were not.

    • I assume that include locations e.g.

      • "Alpha station is space station", but "Polaris was a space station".

So the rule of the thumb would be: always write in the present tense (in/out of universe), unless the subject only appeared in a flashback.

Personally, I am used to in-universe past tense only wikis, and the above inconsistency irks me, But i'll try to match that when ever I am conscious of it.

      Thanks for clarifying.

  • Hi Skyzy

I was wondering what your opinion was on the unlocking of certain templates. Bugthe commented that (amongst others)

Are locked from editing. This has been a precaution by the former administration to avoid people with little coding knowledge from editing and causing the templates to malfunction. However I'd be willing to consider opening them up again with some new experienced editors finding their place on the wikia.

Here you can see some of Bugthe's remarks.

    • In an effort not to clog up your message wall, I had another matter I'd like your opinion on.

For the remodel of the main page, some users suggested getting rid of the 'featured article' and 'featured quote' sections. I'm in favor of this because right now they're infrequently changed and/or the system to vote for what quote/article should be features is underused and broken. So I think it'd save us time, space and worries by just getting rid of them all together.

      What do you think?

    • Yep, I think that's fine.

  • This is old but a year ago or so you responded to a post about not watching 'The 100' after Wells' death by suggesting that people die in post-apocolypse stories. You severely missed the point. Wells was interesting in a show that, after his crappy pointless death, was just another pretty white people with problems story with a twist.

He had this whole thing going with being the pariah and the gravedigger, the one person with unimpeachable moral character and a terrific foil to the spoiled brats following Bellamy for no reason other than idiocy.

And he was a better actor than anyone else on the show including the older actors.

Wells died with virtually no screentime. I never cared about his character or got a chance to know him. I was annoyed when he died because the black guy always dies first, but the first five episodes of this show were terrible anyway so I didn't expect much. Besides, there was soon Lincoln and Miller and Jaha so I could overlook the covert racism like I do most every other show out there (at least until it became blatantly overt and borderline hate speech on this show).

Maybe if the show had been better quality at the beginning of S1, I would have been more sympathetic to Wells' death, but as it was, I mostly considered S1 as starting at episode 6 (and the show ending at 2x16).

  • Hello Skyzy.

I understand that you felt hurt by the conclusion of our early conversation, and I acknowledge that I could have been more patient and handled myself better then. I apologize for any hurt feelings stemming from the past, as that was not at all my intent. Hopefully we can put all this behind us and work together on what we are really all here for.

Question: I know I have to wait until midseason for more The 100, but is there anything you can tell me about Season 4 now? –Brittany Ausiello: Anything, you say? How about a new pair of Grounders entering the scene? First up is Hugo, a physically intimidating twentysomething with the instincts of a natural leader. (That said, he’s pretty torn up over all of the atrocities he committed under ALIE’s control.) Then there’s Kenza, a slightly younger, more “devout” Grounder who put down her sword some time ago in favor of a religious life. What a pair!

  • Skyzy, I hope you'll respect the way I resolved things. Here is the thread where I informed everyone involved about what I did to fix this, keeping the wikia's future in mind.

It is best that in light of recent events you keep a low profile, just like I hope Bugthe will do. If there's any further matters, you can adress me on my message wall :)
