A question about editing. I wanted to just make a small correction to the page for Maya, but I get the message that it can only be edited in source mode for now (whatever that is). What I intended to fix was in the paragraph about the epi Fog of war. As it is, we have 'holding a note that says "Act Natural, their listening!"' It shold be they're (as in: they are), not their (as in: belonging to them).
To everyone's credit, this is the first grammatical error I've seen in the many pages I've looked at (of course, not counting people's comments, but that's a different thing).
I must say, the show itself deserves a bit of credit too. Two weeks ago, I hadn't even heard of the show, and now I've not only found the wiki for it, but saw enough to get me to make an account. I hope eventually, we'll be posting here about Season 6.
Well, that's about it for now I guess. Have a lovely week.
Nice to have you on the wiki with us. New people discover the show and the wiki every single day. However, we are always happy to welcome more (to our opinion, the show is still underrated and not promoted enough, so we kinda do it ourselves :p).
Thanks for the complement, we indeed try to have the contents of our pages as correct as possible. However, this wikia also serves for non-native english speakers, like myself (I'm from Belgium in case you're interested). So there are a few language-issues here that we try to resolve as much as possible, but it's always a work in progress.
Ofcourse we also hope to run this wikia up untill season 6, but for now let's start with season 3 (there is actually a trending toppic planned, if you have twitter you can look it up :D)
Regarding the editing issue you had, it's actually very easy to explain. On top of the 'throughout the series' section, you can see a 'season two' tab. That is a tabber. On Clarke's page you can see it in it's full effect, with both season one and season two. This is to save space. Some pages (should be all pages, but one user accidentally removed them and we haven't put them back up yet because it's a detail) also have these scrollers in this area, also to save space.
However this tabber and scroller aren't visual edits (like for example heading 2 is, the green beam) They're coded elements. Therefor, any content inside a coded element can only be accessed through source mode (which is where you see the code in full display). In visual edit you'll see a puzzle piece (I think if you click on it you might get a thing saying 'edit', but i'm not certain).
Once you've foud source mode (to be found on top of your edit screen, next to visual), you'll get the hang of it pretty soon. Me and other admins basically solely edit in source mode anymore :)
You'll have to please excuse me for this, but I'm still pretty new here. Just a quick question: What are those badges and 'achievement points' good for? I mean, can those points be used for anything? I'm just curious.
They are encouragement for the community, and they simply count as a reward for good contributers. They can't be used for anything, and we also don't encourage people to aim for them; it is something that's supposed to come natural 'oh look, apparently I added 1000 pictures' instead of '20 more pictures untill my next goal'
