They're coming to help us, now we can kick some Grounder ass!
— Jones to the Delinquents, seeing Raven's pod. [src]

Jones was a recurring character featured in The 100. He was one of the Delinquents sent to Earth to see if it could support human life. In We Are Grounders (Part 2), he was killed at some point during the delinquent-grounder conflict.

Early Life Edit

Not much is known about his life before coming to Earth, except that he is said not to be messed with. He was arrested for vandalism, but because he was under 18, he could not be executed and was sent to prison instead. Like all juveniles, he was supposed to get a review for his crime, to determine if he will be released or floated once he turns 18. However, he never received a review. Instead, on his eighteenth birthday, he was sent down with the rest of the prisoners to Earth to see if it was sustainable for life.

Throughout the Series Edit

In Earth Kills Jones goes searching for the missing delinquents Pascal and Trina with Atom, but they do not find them. Later he goes hunting with Bellamy and Atom among others, where they find Charlotte following them. Some heavy acid fog soon rolls in and Jones and the others get separated from Atom, Bellamy, and Charlotte. He takes shelter until the next day where he meets up with Bellamy to search for Atom, whom they find nearly dead and requests that Bellamy kill him. Bellamy takes his knife out but hesitates. However, Clarke appears and sings a lullaby to Atom before sticking a knife in his neck to mercy-kill him. Once they get back to camp Bellamy tells Jones to get Atom's body out of there.

In Twilight's Last Gleaming Jones is one of the first to notice Raven's pod in the sky, and he believes it might contain some kind of weaponry from the Ark. He tells Bellamy where he thinks the pod may have landed, but Bellamy orders him to inform everyone that they aren't going to go look for it until daytime.

After Bellamy destroys the pod's radio and throws in the river, Jones and the other delinquents search for it. He is the one who eventually finds it, but it is declared to irreparable and instead the delinquents create a makeshift flare to signal the Ark.

In We Are Grounders (Part 1) Jones is seen in the background while Murphy is causing chaos and holding Bellamy hostage and watches Jasper get thrown out of the dropship.

In We Are Grounders (Part 2) When the delinquents begin leaving camp and heading to the coast, Jones is seen walking with the others. He witnesses in shock as Drew is killed and flees back to camp. Jones is killed sometime during the Grounder attack on the camp.

In Join or Die Jones is brought in to a room with other delinquents to be taught Earth skills by Charles Pike unknowingly that he was going to be sent to the ground. During the span of two weeks, the delinquents don't retain the information taught by Pike. During their last class, Pike begins to hit John Murphy. Jones along with Dax tries pulling Pike off Murphy before the guards come in. Jones is later seen being directed into the dropship which is sent to Earth with The 100.

Physical Appearance Edit

Jones has dark skin, dark brown eyes, and short black hair. He is of average height but appears broad. Towards the end of Season One, Jones begins wearing a black hoodie.

Personality Edit

Jones is a loyal follower of Bellamy; however, he is never shown to abuse his powers, like some of Bellamy's other followers.

Relationships Edit

Jones is one of Bellamy's most trusted followers.

Atom and Jones' relationship is not focused upon, but they both worked for Bellamy and trusted each other enough to go searching for the missing delinquents together. Jones also appeared sad when Atom died.
