Throughout the Series Edit
In Pilot, Jackson and Abby theorize that the two Delinquents who died were killed on impact because their tiles went black at the same time they lost communication. Jackson later helps Abby operate on the Chancellor after he had been shot, but Jackson refuses to break the law by giving the Chancellor more anesthesia, even when it had to be done.
In Earth Skills, Jackson and Abby discuss a possible signal that can be sent down to the Delinquents, but Jackson states it wouldn't work because the wristbands weren't designed to receive data. Raven reveals to Jackson and Abby that the Delinquents are taking off their wristbands, and Jackson, who is shocked by this, asks why they would do something so reckless, and Abby says it's because they told them not to.
In Murphy's Law, Jackson tries his best to comfort Abby after he finds out that Clarke's wristband signal went out, but Abby refuses to believe the worst has happened, and orders Jackson to get her an analysis of Clarke's vital signs from the past two days. Jackson later warns Abby when Kane and his guards come searching for her.
In We Are Grounders (Part 1), Jackson, along with Abby, operates on Reese. Abby is determined to save her, but Jackson wonders what she is saving Reese for, since the Ark is running out of air and they will all be dead within a couple of days. Abby breaks down saying that Clarke hates her because she turned in her husband, Clarke's dad, and got him executed. Jackson comforts her by saying that Clarke doesn't hate her she is just strong willed, and it's that trait that will keep her alive on the ground.
Reapercussions, Jackson watches in sadness as Abby is shock lashed by Major Byrne ten times due to committing a crime, and he later helps treat her wounds.
In Coup de Grâce, Jackson helps with the surgery performed on Emerson. Later, he discovers the presence of Arker blood inside of Emerson, learning that the Mountain Men have already begun harvesting the 47.
In Resurrection, Jackson arrives at Tondc with a group led by Sinclair. Sinclair explains that they saw the missile blast from Camp Jaha, and have come to help. Jackson assists in evacuating Abby and Kane and tends to those wounded in the blast.
In Blood Must Have Blood (Part 1), Jackson is part of Indra's group that is planning to enter Mount Weather through the mines. When Reapers attack, he uses the tone generator to disable them and then injects them with a substance that knocks them unconscious. Later, after hearing the horn signaling the retreat, he watches as Octavia and Indra argue over whether to follow orders or not. Afterward, as Indra and the Grounders leave, he asks Octavia to come home with them. She responds by saying that she has no home. Jackson gives her a bag of supplies and tells her that she'll need it before turning around and departing with the rest of the Arkers.
In Wanheda (Part 1), Jackson rushes to the gate of Arkadia to greet an injured Jasper and immediately takes him to Medical. Jackson is later seen chasing Jasper down the halls, begging him to stop because he hasn't been cleared from Medical, but Abby sees this and releases him, making him promise to come back in the morning for a checkup. Jackson complains about the twelve waiting patients, four of which who are waiting for contraceptive implant removals.
In Wanheda (Part 2), Lincoln and Octavia bring a dying Nyko to Jackson and Abby. A large amount of blood loss and deep gash requires Nyko to need a blood transfusion. Jackson takes Nyko's blood but realizes that it's Rh null, so none of the Octavia can't give some of her blood to him because Abby says Rh null can only take Rh null. Lincoln offers up some of his blood for Nyko and Jackson takes a sample of Lincoln's blood type, however, he soon finds out that Lincoln's blood type isn't Rh null either. Jackson says there is another option but Abby silences him before he can say what it is. Lincoln wonders what Jackson is talking about, and Jackson suggests Mount Weather since it will have the blood supply necessary for the transfusion. Abby scolds him, pointing out that the Mountain Men bled thousands of Grounders to death so they can't take him there. When Lincoln is asked what he thinks about the idea, Lincoln says that they have to save Nyko, despite knowing that there is a risk that the tensions between the Sky People and Woods Clan will increase if they take Nyko there. Jackson, Abby, Octavia, and Lincoln prepare to transport Nyko to the Mountain. Once Jackson and Abby save Nyko's life, Jackson points out all of the good that Mount Weather could do for both groups of people. Nyko agrees by saying that he and Lincoln can change the minds of their people and that it's not the places that are evil; it's the people. Abby gives Jackson permission to open Mount Weather back up, and he is greatly pleased by this.
Jackson, like most everyone on the Ark, is a law abiding citizen. He expresses no desire to break the rules, as shown when he refuses to give the Chancellor more anesthesia. Jackson will even voice his opinion when someone else tries to break the rules. However, Jackson also cares for his friend Abigail Griffin and shows a high level of devotion to her.
He seems to have a strong moral compass and does not waver from his ideals and morals.
Physical Appearance Edit
Jackson has an olive complexion, dark brown eyes, and black hair. He wears simple clothing. Jackson has a thin build.
On the Ark, Abigail is a good friend and co-worker of Jackson's. Although they do not always see eye to eye, the two generally get along very well. Jackson listens to Abby and respects her, even when they disagree on the course of action to take, such as in the Pilot when Abigail breaks the law to save the life of Chancellor Thelonious Jaha. Jackson seems to trust Abigail more than any other Council member, including the Chancellor. When Marcus Kane searches for Abby, suspecting she is doing something illegal with Raven Reyes, Jackson calls her to warn her allowing Raven to have enough time to launch the repaired escape pod while Abby stays on the Ark. On what they think are their last few days to live (We Are Grounders (Part 1)), Abby and Jackson are seen together operating on a young girl who was hurt in the bomb blast on Unity Day. When the surgery isn't going well Jackson says they, "never should've opened her back up," Abby fight for the girl's life, but she can't be saved. As the heart monitor goes silent and the child dies on the table Abby says, "I failed," and Jackson tries to comfort her while she cries, telling her Clarke doesn't hate her and is just "strong-willed like her mom." He then sends her out of the operating room.
