This article is about the Eligius IV captain. You may be looking for the Ark Guard.

I have to make this fast. The ship has been compromised. The prisoners found out about Order Eleven. They used an explosion in the Starboard engine bay as a distract--*interference* Most of the crew is already dead. They're about to take the bridge. Listen to me! With the engine damage it'll be decades, maybe longer, before they make it back home. I tried disabling cryo, but couldn't. If Eligius makes it back to Earth, blow it out of the sky! Diyoza can't be allowed to weaponize the cargo! Do you hear me?! I said blow it--
— Captain Stevens

Captain Stevens was a minor character in the fifth season. He was the captain of Eligius IV in 2047 when Charmaine Diyoza lead a mutiny onboard the ship.

Early Life[]

He was born on Earth sometime before the first Nuclear Apocalypse. He was the captain of Eligius IV for the Eligius Corporation.

Physical Appearance[]

He was tall with dark hair and fair skin.

Throughout the Series[]

In Sleeping Giants, Bellamy Blake and Raven Reyes came across the captain's logs on the ship's computer, Bellamy finds it odd that the last entry was over 100 years ago. Raven plays the last entry in the log, which was on April 24, 2047. Stevens, clearly stressed and worried explains that the prisoners found out about Order Eleven and that Charmaine Diyoza can't be allowed to weaponize the cargo, he orders his superiors on Earth to blow the ship out of the sky as Diyoza, Miles Shaw and Paxton McCreary blast onto the bridge. McCreary then slits Stevens' throat before he can finish the video.

In Acceptable Losses, Shaw explains that Captain Stevens agreed with the Eligius Corporation's decision to start "Order 11", which would abandon the prisoners on an asteroid, and bring home the Hythylodium, to which Shaw did not like.
