The Ark Population Equation
(I wrote this as a comment on another page but figured it should have its own post.)
"the population on The Ark was just over 400 when it formed yet when the show begins it is over 6 times that at nearly 2,700."
This has been in the back of my head for a while. Assuming that the Sky People continued to reproduce and give birth via normal methods (pregnant mothers vs. incubating wombs), I've been wanting to sit down and properly figure out how many potential children had to be born in each generation to reach 2700.
- The 1-child law has been in effect for at least Clarke's generation and perhaps even her parents' (do any of the adults have siblings?). So, subtract ~40 years (each generation being roughly 20 years).

What if Mount Weather Won?
This blog post is about an alternate plot theory I have been thinking about for a while now: What is Mount Weather won the Mount Weather War? I have thought of several questions for the community to think about and answer. Please answer any of the following questions in the Comments section:
- What would they have done to the Grounders and Sky People after they didn't need them anymore?
- Would they move to the Ground permanently?
- Would they stay in Mount Weather some of the time still?
- What would they do to avoid invasion from the Grounders and Sky People?
- What would their new territory be called? New America? Weather?
Season 3 Death Predictions
Possible Deaths for next season that I could see happening:
- Jaha is the most logical death to me. He's unhinged, seemingly working toward nefarious purposes, and he will need to be stopped (perhaps by Murphy)
- Wick is just very bland to me for some reason. I actually forgot completely about his existence, making him a last-minute addition to this list. It'd give Raven some grief without having to physically torture her again and it would help give her an out after jumping into a
reboundrelationship again so soon after Finn's death. Plus, some Monty angst since they know each other. - Emerson but only if he turns out to be a villain next season (I'd prefer he get a redemption arc and live)
- Sinclair - we see so little of him and know so little about…
Where on Earth is....
I want to bring up the topic of blacksmiths. I want to meet the blacksmith and i want one or more of the deliquents to begin studying it. Earth is their home now and they need to begin developing skills and trades to pass down. Metal working and building an efficient furnace i think would be nice concepts to bring into the world to make it feel fuller. However i know there isnt alot of drama in that. i guess what im saying is I want to see a documentary with people in circumstances as those in The 100. haha.
Previous Commander
I would like to hear about this person whoever they are.
Lexa told Clarke that she became leader after the previous leader died and his/her spirit chose her.
Maybe in season 3 if the truth of TonDC is revealed to Grounder council or army someone tells Lexa that Commander whosoever would have never sacrificed their people like that.
If Indra is still on the canvass I know she'll stand behind Lexa's decision. She already justified it Octavia.
Favorite Episodes
Honorable Mention: Rubicon/Resurrection - (I'm counting this as one episode in two parts.) I loved the 47 battling Dr. Tsing and slaughtering all of those MM. I loved how Octavia once again saved Lincoln. Clarke (to Lincoln): "You are my people." Indra: "You've done well, Octavia of the Sky People."
5. His Sister's Keeper/Contents Under Pressure - I love the Blake Sibling storylines and how it shows both the good and bad of sibling relationships. I love the introduction of the Grounders and their society and culture and how Octavia was fully capable of saving herself, twice. I also loved the implications of the torture storyline and how it was Octavia who saved Finn, not Clarke, Bellamy, or Raven.

Warner Bros. is going to have a HUGE presence at San Diego Comic Con, and we’re excited to announce some early details about the event. They are taking 18 shows to the convention, including early screenings on Preview Night and a big Saturday event in Hall H. Wikia is going to be there, and we’re hoping to see you there too! Comparing The 100 to Lost
I know that I'm not the first to do this, but if you'd take a moment, I think this might help any The 100 fans busy until season 3!
In Lost, a character driven by faith and destiny, John Locke assits the story of the show to progress into new areas of discovery. And in the ending scene of the season finale he gets the hatch to open.
In The 100, a character that is continually motivated to follow his destiny and believes that everything that's happening is part of his destiny, Thelonias Jaha has been the man stuck in the shadows of everything familiar and is finally given the role of "opening the hatch" in the ending scene of the season finale!
Clearly, many parallels can be drawn between these two charachters motivated by destiny.

Bellamy Fucking Blake
Lets take a minute to talk about, Bellamy Fucking Blake, shall we? First, lets talk about his apperence. I am not exxagerating when I say the man (Bob Morley) looks half God. His abs looked carved out of stone, man, habe I written alot of Bellarke smut featuring, no, staring, those abs! Damn. Saying he is hot is an understatement. And his hair, is fucking perfection.

Best Reunion!
THE MOST ADORABLE REUNION WAS BETWEEN MILLAER & HIS DAD!
They haven't seen each other since they both lived in space. His dad though he died months ago, they he gets a shimmer of hope when they get to the ground his son might be alive, meanwhile Miller doesn't even know the rest of the Arc is on the ground, then BAM his dad is in front of him! Then after hours of anticipation, they get to hug!
Bellarke
I remember when I thought I was the only one shipping Bellarke in the beggining. Like 2 episodes in. I wanted them together, BUT NOT YET. They were not ready for each other. Now they are very much on their way.
Just re-watcing S1. They got each other's backs! 100% They are the Ying to the other's Yang.

None of us is innocent
To be completely honest I'm conflicted about this episode. But not in the sense that I don't know if i liked it or not but in the sense that I know I loved it but It's too painful to really think about so, since I love torturing myself I am going to share with you my thoughts on the last episode of season 2.

The Strategic Situation
Lexa has united 12 clans and just negotiated a truce with Mount Weather. All the major players are happy.
The Sky People are a minor faction in the region, they are lacking in resources, weapons and soldiers.
If this were Civilization, and I was playing the Sky People faction, I'd probably be starting a new game at this point.
Although, while the Sky People are at a disadvantage (they've lost their only ally) at least they're only fighting on a single front; Woods Clan aren't going to help them, but they have no reason to attack them either.
Unfortunately their single aggressor, Mt Weather, wants to wipe them out in a relatively short amount of time (they've just lost the source of blood treatments).

Im a huge fan of the 100! i totally shipped Clarke and Finn at the beginning but after a while Bellamy and Clarke seem like the perfect match! ugg and then theres Clake and Lexa! i cant handle the constant changing love interests in this show! i just wanted to run a few things by all you 100 fans. I have been going over in my brain possible plot twists. Now its been confirmed that Clarke is indeed bisexual and i totally support it. So imagine this. Clarke and Lexa get together for a while totally crushing Bellamy, but Clarke soon finds out that she is pregnant but the only person she has ever slept with is dead (Finn) and his death was ordered by her current lover (Lexa). I really want to see Echo reunited with her people but I'm nervous about her saftey. I've learned with this show, no character is safe (RIP Sterling and Finn :'( ).

My thoughts
This is a list of things that I(and some other people) think is stupid about what people theorize about characters.
- I think people who think Charlotte is still alive are so stupid.
- She jumped off a cliff which had a bottom so far down it could not be seen, so she must be dead.
- She was evil.
- She did nothing good.
- Apart from jumping off that cliff of course.
- She was only on a couple of episodes.
- 3 was it? Or 2?
- She killed a main character for no logical reason.

You guys need to understand that Clarke is still a 17-year-old girl, she was not raised to be a leader or to make hard choices. WHY IS THE SHOW SO DIFFERENT!!!!!
I just finished reading the last book that came in the mail yesterday and I loved it! I was like "ok its time to watch the TV show now" but then I look at it and there is all these different characters. I don't even see the important characters like Glass, Luke, Sasha (my favorite). Im still going to watch it but if you have read the book and watch the show can you shed some light on who some of the people are equivalent to in the book.
On a side note I can't believe they called the Earthborn (book name for the earth-dwellers) grounders. I mean seriously, GROUNDERS!?

The importance of Harper, Monty and Miller.
Ok so lets start with Harper. This girl is strong. she has been through even more than the other 47.. I mean they tortured her for bone marrow for crying out loud. I think she in the LEAST deserves a surname. Also, her relationship with Monty is so sweet I mean he took care of her when she was weak and protected her. In the end I really think Harper deserves more screen time she is just such a badass and strong.
Miller has de potential to be so great, he is grumpy and strong and has the qualities of a great character. I think his extreme dislike for everyone that is not Monty really makes me like him more.(I mean who can hate Monty?)
